Rachel Hopkins, Psy.D. is the program director for UCEBT's Anxiety & Mood team and specializes in acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.  She comes to UCEBT with experience in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and families.  Rachel’s clinical interests include trauma and stress-related disorders, behavioral problems, anxiety and mood disorders, and helping individuals live a life that better aligns with their values.   

Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from the University of Delaware as well as her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Widener University.  Her doctoral research focused on facilitating posttraumatic growth in clinical treatment.  Rachel completed a predoctoral internship at the Widener Child Therapy Clinic where she provided individual and family therapy to children and families targeting a broad range of presenting problems.  She also completed a predoctoral internship at the Widener University Counseling Center where she provided individual therapy and consultation to undergraduate and graduate students presenting with a wide variety of clinical issues.

Out of State Sessions

Dr. Hopkins can accept clients in both Utah and Wyoming. She is also PsyPact approved and can provide telehealth services in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
