Stephanie Pirsig is a licensed clinical psychologist and post-doctoral resident for the Utah Center for Evidence Based Treatment. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato; and a Masters of Education and Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology from the University of Utah (APA Accredited). Her graduate research focused on using mindfulness and acceptance-based therapies in the treatment of internalizing and externalizing disorders in children and adolescents. Stephanie has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in private practice, public schools, university clinics, community mental health clinics, and detention centers. Most recently, she completed an APPIC-approved pre-doctoral internship at Jordan School District in Utah.

Stephanie takes a holistic approach to therapy and assessment to gain insight to referral concerns, cultural and familial backgrounds, along with personal values and current supports and resources. She especially appreciates collaborative, culturally sensitive, and accessible therapeutic modalities and has a background in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and traditional cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). She is assisting with the mood and anxiety, DBT, and testing and assessment teams.

Stephanie’s hobbies include spending time in nature, yoga, cooking, reading, art, travel, and watching movies and shows. She especially enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
